📣 "Magpie is a testament to the power of therapeutic work and the bravery it takes to look inside and recruit others in our healing. Further, it beautifully demonstrates that rippling pond effect of self-growth: that when we heal, everyone around us has the opportunity to heal too." — Heather Harper Ellet, Author and Therapist.
Writer Lilian Lamont is having a terrible time. Her idol thinks she’s an impertinent child who can’t take accountability for her actions. Her boss has stolen her work and is threatening to expose her biggest secret—leaving her no choice but to out herself before someone else does. Meanwhile, her roommate, and probably the love of her life, just stormed out after a fight, announcing she received a marriage proposal. And on top of all this, it’s 1895, and she doesn’t have the right to vote.
Luckily, Lily has decided to seize the day and has mustered the gumption to fight for what she wants.
