"Magpie is a testament to the power of therapeutic work and the bravery it takes to look inside and recruit others in our healing. Further, it beautifully demonstrates that rippling pond effect of self-growth: that when we heal, everyone around us has the opportunity to heal too." — Heather Harper Ellet, Author and Therapist.

Yours in Words,

Doesn't everyone deserve an epic story? Yours in Words, is a tale about women, love, friendship, and power. It's a play for those who don't fit in, for those pursuing their dreams when others say they can't or shouldn't, and for those in search of their authentic self.

Lily Lamont is a daring young sapphist (lesbian) from Nebraska living in New York City in 1895. Annabelle Jones is a widow and famous novelist known to the world under the gender-free pen name A.B. Jones.

When Lily and Annabelle's paths collide outside the Arveson Library, neither woman knows what they have set in motion. Both will face a life-altering decision requiring them to step into their best and most vulnerable self to fulfill their impossible dream.
